One of the Best
I first bought the LP when it was first released as I was told as a Tull fan I would enjoy it. This is one of the best Celtic-Rock cds ever. I have been hooked and have all their stuff but this is the best.

The Best
Absolutely the high point of a band evolving from folk to rock. I love all their work but they never quite got the balance so right again. The Book of Invasions and to a lesser degree the Tain are in the first rank of folk/rock fusion albums.

The Book Of Invasions
Possibly that sums up what Horslips was about all in in less than 70 minutes. A mixture of great irish trad music with very powerful rock. The greatest band in my opinion that my Emerald Isle has produced. U2 are just overrated. These guys knew what they were doing.
